“Why didn’t you take her to the hospital?”
“She needs to be seen right away.”
“It doesn’t work that way.”
“Don’t tell me, I used to work in the ER”
“Then you should know better.”

Wow, crafty lady.
I hate to admit it but I’ve used my “inside knowledge” to play the system once. I won’t go into details but afterward I felt rather guilty about it. Deception is not a good thing, even if you *I* benefit in the end.
