Peter Canning http://medicscribe.com/2012/02/responding/ writes great review of my book, Responding.
I respond, singing Peter's praises but confessing that I do not have an E-Reader.
Greg Friese from Everyday EMS Tips http://www.everydayemstips.com/ offers to send me a Kindle, and then does so.
On that Kindle is an e-copy of Blink, by Malcolm Gladwell
Laura, from Enculturating EMS writes a post about a post I wrote that was inspired in part by Gladwell's book. http://enculturatingems.blogspot.com/2012/03/does-rapid-cognition-affect-ems.html
I decide to add Laura to my blogroll, and while there realize that for some crazy reason Maddog Medic http://maddogmedic.com/is missing, so I add him as well.
In the meantime, I see that The Fire Critic has announced the finalists of the Fire EMS Blog of the Year, http://firecritic.com/2012/03/14/voting-for-your-favorite-fire-andor-ems-blog-of-2012/
I read the post, and realize I am not one of the finalists. After repairing the walls and re-righting the furniture I decide to support The Insomniac's Guide to Ambulances http://www.insomniacmedic.com/
Then, after blaming Ambulance Driver for my misfortune, http://ambulancedriverfiles.com/ I rented the re-make of Footloose, which starred Kevin Bacon in the original.
Then I voted for Insomniac Medic!

I owe you an apology for not nominating you. I’ve just been so crazy busy lately that the nomination deadline slipped right by me.
In my opinion, you’re one of the best EMS blogs out there, if not the best.
Should have a review of your book on my blog sometime in the near future.
If I remember correctly it was me and you fighting till the end last year. I guess the residual damage to my sterling reputation from that contest lingered into this year’s event. No worries, it was a fun battle, well worth it!
you need to do spell check on your title. Separation not Seperation…
Good catch, Susan.
AD – I nominated Michael! Agreed that it’s one of the top blog’s out there.
Anyway – MM – thank you again for your kind words. The cheque’s (note Britty spelling) in the mail!!!
Guess what IM…You are now da man! You have the heart and passion now that I had a few years ago. You deserve to win.
That is a well traveled Kindle. It came to me from my friend Timothy C. in Seattle.
Greg, you were right, I’m getting hooked on that thing, thanks again!
